since 2012

Back in 2012, we embarked on an exciting journey by launching a CrossFit-inspired clothing brand called Keeps Getting Better Clothing. Our focus was on creating unique, high-quality designs for t-shirts, vests, and hoodies tailored to the sports and fitness community. The brand was born out of a passion for CrossFit culture and a desire to bring something fresh and creative to the market.

The response to our designs and ethos was overwhelmingly positive, and we quickly gained traction within the CrossFit community. Our apparel not only resonated with individuals but also caught the attention of CrossFit gym owners, who appreciated our style and approach. Before long, they began reaching out to us with inquiries about printing custom merchandise for their gyms. This demand marked the beginning of a significant shift in our business focus.

Recognizing the potential to expand into a new niche, we embraced the challenge of transitioning from being a clothing brand to becoming a full-fledged printing business. With this fresh idea in mind, we turned to self-education. We scoured YouTube for tutorials and industry tips, attended print-related events to gain hands-on insights, and immersed ourselves in learning the art and business of printing.

These efforts culminated in the creation of Guano Crazy Printing—a new chapter in our entrepreneurial journey. By leveraging our design expertise and the connections we had built through Keeps Getting Better Clothing, we laid the foundation for what would become a thriving custom printing business.

Why Guano Crazy?

When it came time to name our printing business, we wanted something that truly reflected who we are—our energy, creativity, and the quirky way we approach challenges. During brainstorming sessions, the phrase “Bat Sh*t Crazy” kept coming up, perfectly capturing the lively, determined, and sometimes chaotic way we tackle problems head-on. It was fun, it was bold, and it felt like us.

However, as we soon discovered, Google algorithms and swear words don’t exactly mix when it comes to building a brand. But instead of letting that hold us back, we got creative. Drawing on a touch of finesse and a little linguistic inspiration from Spanish, we managed to keep the essence of our personalities intact while crafting a name that was not only unique but also memorable. And so, Guano Crazy Printing was born—an inventive twist that kept the spirit of “bat” and “crazy” alive while ensuring we stayed professional (and Google-friendly!).

As it turns out, the name offers more than just personality—it also carries a nod to our roots. When shortened, GC Printing neatly ties back to our home base in Gloucester City. It’s a subtle but meaningful way to pay homage to the place we love, live, and work. It’s a name that’s not just fun and quirky but also deeply connected to who we are and where we come from.
